Waiting for a bus to take me to work in downtown Ottawa and watching all the single occupancy tank traffic go by makes me wonder how many of the drivers voted for the Green Party in the recent federal election that thankfully returned the Liberals to government. I can't imagine how depressing it would be to have Stephen Harper and his christo-fascist brigade in charge of our country again what with all those idiot premiers aiding and abetting in the looting of our public resources.

By the way, I read a piece this morning wherein an oil company guy is threatening that if the Conservatives don't win the oil and gas industry is going to pack up and move out of Alberta.

He didn't mention where it would go.

I bet Andrew Scheer voted for Trump.

Squeaky Wheels

I googled Alberta's population and all I got at first were a lot of projections, almost as if Alberta doesn't want to admit it's only 4 million people.

So smaller than British Columbia, which is about 4.5 million.

Quebec is double the size at 8 million, while Ontario is more than 4 times the size at 13.5 million.

The entire Maritime region is just over 2 million.

All the territories together are just over 100 thousand.

Manitoba and Saskatchewan come in at about 1 million each.

The above is according to the 2016 Census.

Justin Trudeau, like Hillary Clinton, is wearing a bullet proof vest now. That's because of Stephen Harper's Conservative Party of Canada and its violent and hateful supporters. Andrew Scheer's a shameless liar but it would be fun anyway if a reporter were to ask him if he voted for Trump. See if his nose grows when he deflects to Justin Trudeau.
