I always thought Maxime Bernier was just a not very bright guy who went into politics because that's what his dad did, and people elected him because he was good looking. But it turns out he's actually a frothing idiot who thinks teenagers being depressed, and maybe even developing eating disorders - because of catastrophic climate changes due to global warming - is crazy.

Cripes, I developed an eating disorder as a teenager and I don't even know why now but it wasn't because of something as devastating as climate change. And although I've never been depressed, as such, I've experience existential crises that lasted in one case for the second trimester of a pregnancy. So I can't imagine how difficult it must be for young people these days, with deranged psychotic men like Trump and Bolsonaro and Putin and Xi and Kim Jong-Un running our world into the ground.

Please, vote Liberal this fall. I know, I know. Just do it.

This Donald Trump being president of the United States thing is the worst, eh? So racist and sexist and blatantly in-our-faces corrupt. And all because he's in debt up to his blown out sinuses to Russian mobsters. Oh well. Guess there's nothing for it but to watch while he pays it off by destroying America and maybe the whole world.

Meanwhile, Boss Putin is pretending a dozen nuclear accidents haven't happened in the past couple of weeks - including a nuclear reactor blowing up in the Barents Sea.

That's the problem with mobsters, Russian and otherwise. They're not just tacky money-laundering murderers who act like they come from a parallel universe 80s, they're own-nest-shitter-inners.

I came across someone pointing out that ensuring access to abortion services for female citizens and granting marriage licences to gay citizens aren't "social issues", the namby pamby term being used to excuse Andrew Scheer & Co's illiberal views, they're hard won legal human and civil rights and important steps forward in advancing the individual rights and freedoms of ALL Canadians. No one should be running for public office in Canada in 2019 who doesn't recognize this and yet here we are. Again.

But Susan Sarandon has moved on from accusing the Democrats of rigging their candidate selection process against Bernie Sanders, a socialist and non-member of the Democratic Party, to accusing them of rigging their candidate selection process against Tulsi Gabbard, Putin's Choice.

Split the Alt-Right!

I'm not a REAL political strategist but if I was I'd advise Maxime Bernier to be pro-choice in Quebec and anti-choice everywhere else. That way he'd get Andrew Scheer's Quebec white nationalist Conservatives AND Andrew Scheer's everywhere else white Christian nationalist Conservatives - thereby - splitting the alt-Right vote (both the Conservative Party of Canada and the People's Party of Canada are alt-Right) and electing a majority Liberal Party of Canada government again.

And I'm not even a REAL Liberal, that's how much I don't want to mess with a relatively decent thing when I've finally got it.
