Christmas Vulture

I find now that I don't participate in Christmas in any way, shape, or form - I kind of enjoy it.

Existential Wednesday

I'm starting to forget what life was like before Donald Trump sucked the point out of it.

Existential Monday

If the internet had been around when I was a kid, I'd have not done a lot of the things that I did.

But what does it matter one way or another when it's around for me now.

Although I don't like how stressful it feels when it goes down.

At first.

Then I start hoping it never gets back up.

"back up".

Get it?

I'm here forever.

Try the veal.

Telecommunications Litterbugs

Why isn't there a regulation compelling Rogers and Bell to remove their satellite dishes and cables from both private and public property and dispose of them responsibly when their services are cancelled? It seems crazily irresponsible to me that they're allowed to just leave their crap everywhere like it's nothing to do with them. Smarten up, regulators. Make those litterbugs clean up after themselves, please.

Taxes?! We don need no stinkin' taxes!

The problem with Ottawa is that Ottawans are allowed to drive their private vehicles into its downtown.

There are even a couple of hired hands with a Stop Sign stopping pedestrians on the Queen Street sidewalk so that greenhouse gas emitters can turn into the Rideau Club parking lot.

And if we weren't such cheapskates we'd have a great light rail system instead of whatever OC Transpo slapped into place.

Size Matters

Just a reminder that Alberta has a population of about $4M, half of which is from Ontario and Newfoundland.

Would You Like Environmental Destruction With That?

The most enjoyable burger I've ever had is the A&W plant-based burger at Place d'Orleans.

(It was an excursion to Fabricland, which is located a few long blocks away on the main drag of Orleans. And if you've never been to Orleans, don't go. It's the most alienating place on Earth.)

That even includes the one made by a server who went from building it to handling cash and back again to building it - all the while wearing the same pair of plastic gloves.

Oh wait... that was a Harvey's.

Whatever, no wonder we're drowning in plastic.
