No one's asking but I know why men of various politics are currently using women of various politics to challenge Justin Trudeau's leadership of the Liberal Party. It's because he took away the knife they were always holding over our heads re "will they or won't they try to re-criminalize abortion" when he told prospective nominees to be pro-choice or fuck off to another party.
Men in the business of politics aren't supposed to do that to other men in the business of politics. They really like holding that knife, whether it's being used to threaten us or to play white knight, as in, we'll protect you from the knife we're holding, ladies.
